Q: I would like to open an account with your bank.  Do I need to schedule an appointment?

A: Yes. You can either schedule an appointment or walk in from 9am- 4pm, Mon- Fri ET to open an account.


Q: I would like to open an account online but do not see this feature on your website?

A: Currently, we are not able to accommodate account opening online but look forward to adding this functionality soon.


Q:  I would like to open an account with your bank, but I live out of state.  Am I able to open an account online?

A:  At this time, we are not able to accommodate account opening online but look forward to adding this functionality soon.

Q: I would like to open a business account with your bank, please advise how I may accomplish this?

A:  To accomplish opening a business account, you must come in person to do so. It will not be necessary to schedule an appointment, but it will be more convenient.

You will need to be registered with the State of Ohio.


Q: I am a business owner and looking to expand my business.  Do you offer commercial loans?

Q: Do you offer mortgage loans?

A: No, we will refer all mortgage requests to one of our partner banks.


Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Adelphi Bank hours of operation is Mon- Fri, 9am- 4pm ET


Q: How do I send a Wire?

A: Visit the Adelphi Bank Branch to set up a Wire Transfer. We are not doing wire for non-customer. You must be a customer of Adelphi Bank to conduct a wire transfer.


Q: How do I receive a wire Transfer?

A: Do not use your Adelphi account number or routing number. Please call the bank for incoming wire instructions.


Q: How can I Stop Payment?

A: You may stop payment for an issued that has not been accepted by Adelphi Bank for processing. You must provide reasonably significant information to allow the bank to honor the stop payment request. A stop payment order will be in effect for six months, and a fee will be charged to your account. To stop a payment, you will need to contact the branch, or you can do so through our digital banking service.


Q: How can I dispute a Debit card transaction?

A: You may dispute a transaction by contacting 1-866-279-1399 or by visiting the Adelphi Bank branch.


Q: Who do I contact with questions about my Personal Credit Card?

A: You may contact customer service at 1-800-883-0131.


Q: Who do I contact with questions about my Business Credit Card?

A: You may contact customer service at 1-800-423-7503.


Q: Is Adelphi Bank FDIC insured?

A: Yes, Adelphi Bank is FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor. FDIC insurance covers all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, money market savings and CDs), as well as individual retirement accounts (IRAs). You may also contact FDIC by calling 877-ASK-FDIC (877-275-3342).


Q: Can I get a cashier’s check at Adelphi Bank?

A: Yes. If you’re an Adelphi Bank customer with a checking and savings account, you can get a cashier’s check for a $5 fee. Adelphi Bank will not provide cashier’s check to non-customers.
